a single site utilizing both of these configurations. Two (2) 5350s are used to monitor 16, and one (1) 5310 is used to monitor the critical transfer switch from a second location.
The remote annunciators have an alarm light indication as well as an audible alarm. More detail on alarms is available by logging into the embedded web page. A list of all connected ATSs will be displayed along with specific alarms, including communication error, locked out, ATS position position error, fail to synchronize, extended parallel, not in auto, and ATS bypass active standard alarms.
Multiple annunciators overseeing the same transfer switches can be placed in different locations, allowing redundant, distributed monitoring and control. The remote annunciators can interface with ASCO’s 185, 300, and 7000 Series transfer switches with either an independent ASCO Quad-Ethernet Module (QEM) or daisy-chained QEMs. The network architecture below illustrates
