HOBBY SPOTLIGHT

Did you know? Overlanding and camping might sound similar, but they are two different things. Overlanding focuses on the journey, using a vehicle to explore remote areas with self-sufficiency. Camping, on the other hand, is about staying at a specific location, with various styles like tent or RV camping, and is generally more accessible. What he likes about Overlanding and Camping: • Sense of Freedom: Overlanding allows Grain to travel without limitations, explore new places at his own pace, and break away from routine. • Family Adventure: It’s a wonderful way to connect his family with nature, creating unforgettable experiences and enjoying the outdoors together while bonding. What he finds challenging: • Planning & Preparation: Every trip requires careful planning, from choosing routes to packing the right gear, ensuring safety and comfort along the way. • Unpredictable Conditions: Weather changes, rough terrains, and occasional vehicle issues add to the adventure, requiring flexibility and problem-solving skills! Grain is the HR Business Partner for the ASCO team in Manila, Philippines. In 2023, he embarked on an adventurous hobby of overlanding and camping. This passion allows him to explore remote areas, travel without limitations, and immerse himself in nature, creating unforgettable experiences and bonding moments with his family.
