Vlency Mae Coronado is ASCO Power’s email marketing specialist. She’s a self proclaimed indoor cat. So it’s no surprise that she likes to spend her free time cooped up at home, watching anime and reading manga.

What is anime and manga? Anime is an animation style. Manga is a style of comics. Both originate from Japan. What they like about watching anime: • For Vlency, it’s peak literature. • She loves getting engrossed in stories that help her escape reality, even for a moment. What they find challenging: • Fictional characters aren’t real! • Merch is expensive Vlency’s anime recommendations: • If you want to jump into the rabbit hole – Haikyu, Hunter x Hunter, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Shingeki no Kyojin • If you want to celebrate being single – Fruits Basket, Kaichou wa Maid-Sama, Kimi ni Todoke • If you’re not afraid of commitment – One Piece • If you need a good cry – Anohana
