What is a Randonneur? Someone who traverses long routes within prescribed time limits. The main events cover a minimum distance of 200 kilometers (~125 miles) and can extend much further. What I like about it: • Sense of camaraderie and accomplishment • Being the athlete, navigator, and mechanic all at the same time • My spouse’s support - She thinks bike rides are cheaper than therapy! Highlights: • Riding across the USA • Heat

Challenges: • On-bike nutrition • Bigger hills • Really, really big hills!

• Riding 200 miles in one day • Helping other people ride
