ASCO FEATURE

Robert Debrody is the Director of Program Execution at ASCO Power Technologies. Growing up, he was his father’s assistant for countless handyman jobs which fostered an “I-can-do-it” attitude. This outlook combined with his degree in Architectural Design and Electrical Engineering drives his passion for home improvement.

In his first home, he had a major addition added where he performed much of the work. Robert has done framing, wiring, plumbing, added crown molding and chair rails, built a stone fireplace, re-shingled a roof, and gutted and rebuilt two bathrooms and a kitchen. With two grown children, he now makes improvements in their homes.

What he likes about it: • The challenge of trying something new

Did you know? Home improvement has benefits ranging from increased home functionality and appeal to lowered energy costs. • Researching products, tools, and techniques • The feeling of accomplishment after every project • Learning and passing knowledge along to others Challenges: • Finding time • Finding ways to overcome complications, which come with every project
